Relationship Counseling

Every relationship moves through seasons. Some are expansive, some hard, some quietly erode what once felt solid. The challenging work of growing together can be worth it. You don't have to wait until things fall apart to ask for support.

Who I work with

I work with couples and relationships at all stages and in all kinds of relationships. What matters most is that all parties are willing to show up and engage the process. Whether you're navigating a specific crisis or simply feel a growing distance, relationship couples creates a space to get honest, get curious, and move forward together.

A multidisciplinary approach is the gold standard in working with sexual issues and challenges. Collaboration is a cornerstone of how I work — I maintain active working relationships with a range of medically trained professionals, including physicians, pelvic floor specialists, and other healthcare providers. Coordinating that care on your behalf is something I take seriously and do regularly.

How I approach couples work

People don't come to therapy as blank slates and neither do relationships. Each person brings their own history — individual wounds, patterns, and beliefs formed long before this relationship began. My approach holds both the present relational challenges and the deeper individual threads that shape them, because lasting change in a relationship often requires tending to both.

My approach is comprehensive and direct. I look at the full picture of what each person and the relationship is carrying — including the role of attachment, family of origin, culture, spirituality, and significant relational injuries. A thorough assessment grounds our work in a real understanding of what's happening beneath the surface. As we go deeper, both partners gain clarity on the cycles they've been caught in, the emotions driving their reactions, and the stories and core beliefs that have quietly shaped how they show up with each other.

I believe in working toward the kind of growth that makes the need for ongoing support less necessary. Life won't stop presenting challenges, but through this process you can become better equipped to meet future challenges together. I'll lend you my hope in the process. The vision for your relationship belongs to you.

Areas we can work on together:

  • Communication

  • Betrayal recovery

  • Connection & Intimacy

  • Impact of trauma on the relationship

  • Conflict patterns

  • Parenting together

  • Life Transition

  • Emotional distance

Relationships are one of the most powerful contexts for both wounding and healing. When two people are willing to do the work together, the ripple effect extends well beyond the relationship itself. It overflows into families, communities, and the next generation.

If you're ready to invest in your relationship, I'd welcome the conversation.
